Gabriel Langlands has always travelled and painted. He spent several seasons in Norway working in fish stations and as a deck hand on trawlers before returning to England in 2004 to learn timber framing. He still teaches carpentry part-time but now devotes most of his time to painting.  Gabriel has recently shown work at Glyndebourne in their Fair Ground exhibition in November 2023 and had a solo show in May 2025 with Moncrieff-Bray Gallery. He lives in Hampshire with his partner and three children.
